Please ensure your sponsor meets the requirements and their documents are submitted.

Important dates to remember:

                            March 17: (option 1) Sponsor meeting in School Library 6pm                April 1: (option 2) Sponsor Meeting @6pm in school library

                       April 10: (option 3) Sponsor meeting in Gym 6:30       April 25-27: Ablaze Retreat @ Holy Family in Irving (Mandatory)

                                                         May 28: Confirmation Rehearsal (Sponsor must attend) @6pm      May 31: Confirmation Mass @noon

May 6th: Confessions for Confirmation @6:30

The Confirmation Sponsor:

• must be a practicing Roman Catholic who attends Mass regularly (Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation) and is living according to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• supports the person to be confirmed in their commitment to a Christian life.
• must be fully initiated themselves, having received Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist
• should be sufficiently mature in their own faith commitment
• may be either male or female for any candidate
• must be reasonably informed on current church teachings
• may not be the parents of the candidates
• assists in determining the candidate’s readiness for the sacrament
• presents the candidate to the minister of Confirmation
• is at least 16 years old
