Immaculate Conception School began in 1952 and has been educating children from Grand Prairie and surrounding areas successfully since its inception.

It is my greatest blessing to welcome you to Immaculate Conception Catholic School, where faith, family, and academic excellence come together to nurture the whole child.
I have been blessed to serve as principal of Immaculate Conception for the past 20 years, following 23 years as an educator with Grand Prairie ISD. I hold a Bachelor of Education from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and a Master of Education from the University of Texas at Arlington.
My connection to Immaculate Conception is deeply personal. All three of my children attended our school, and their experience here inspired my dream of one day leading a Catholic school. Today, that dream is a beautiful reality.
I am incredibly grateful to work alongside outstanding teachers, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and wonderful students who make our school community so special. Together, we strive to help each child grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally while developing a strong foundation of faith and character.

La unica escuela catolica de Grand Prairie
Es una gran bendicion para mi darles la bienvenida a la Escuela Catolica de la Inmaculada Concepcion, donde la fe, la familia y la excelencia academica se unen para fomentar el desarrollo integral de cada nino.
He tenido la bendicion de servir como directora de la Inmaculada Concepcion durante los ultimos 20 anos, tras haber trabajado previamente durante 23 anos como educadora en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Grand Prairie. Cuento con una Licenciatura en Educacion de la Universidad Our Lady of the Lake en San Antonio y una Maestria en Educacion de la Universidad de Texas en Arlington.
Mi vinculo con la Inmaculada Concepcion es profundamente personal. Mis tres hijos asistieron a nuestra escuela, y su experiencia aqui inspiro mi sueno de dirigir algun dia una escuela catolica. Hoy, ese sueno es una hermosa realidad.
Estoy profundamente agradecida de trabajar junto a maestros excepcionales, personal dedicado, padres que brindan su apoyo y alumnos maravillosos que hacen que nuestra comunidad escolar sea tan especial. Juntos, nos esforzamos por ayudar a cada nino a crecer academica, espiritual, social y emocionalmente, mientras desarrollan una base solida de fe y caracter.

My Time at ICS

It's been over two decades since I last wandered the halls of IC, yet with just a gentle closing of my eyes, I can vividly recapture every single detail: the line of blue lockers, the white painted cinder blocks, and the path that meandered to the gym and out to the portable classrooms. Memories of field days, cherished moments at the Pines, the joyous Christmas programs, the harmonious chime of playing handbells, and four-square on the blacktop. How could I ever forget the camaraderie of spirit sticks, the intellectual dances of math with Sister Regina, and the creative explorations in Sister Lilliane’s writing classes? Each moment at IC, wove into me a profound sense of belonging and community. My journey there was more than educational—it was transformational, shaping my aspirations and guiding me towards a career in education. These memories are not just recollections; they are treasures, illuminating the path for future generations. I hold these experiences close to my heart, and I am filled with hope that your child, too, will soon weave their own tapestry of cherished moments at IC.
